Why are your prices so low compared
to other sites and stores?
Our philosophy is to sell the same items that other places
sell at a much lower price, but we can only do this because
of the volume of business and our lower overheard costs.
Is the jewelry you sell real 14K
gold or silver?
Yes, according to the manufacturer all of the jewelry
is either 14K gold plated or real silver plated.
I am nervous about buying a veil
online…do you use cheaper material? Why are your prices
so low?
A lot of people are surprised to learn that a vast majority
of bridal stores and sites purchase their products from
the very same manufacturers. That said, any veil you see
on After the Dress.com is no different in quality than from
a veil you might find at David’s Bridal for example.
The reason we know this is because we purchase our veils
from a reputable manufacturer that has been around for decades.
The real differences in veils are actually going to be from
the number of layers you desire, length, and embellishments
you like or lack thereof. We are able to offer the veils
at a much lower price because we don’t have the same
overhead costs that most large stores do, and also because
of the volume of business, which allows us to pass that
savings onto you!
How long will it take for me to
get the items I ordered?
We generally ship orders processed within 1-3 business
days. Majority of the time we use UPS Ground for our standard
shipping. Depending on weather and location, most people
receive their order within 3-5 days from the date it was
shipped. We do offer a 2 day option for an additional charge.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, with the exception of custom/engraved/personalized
ordered items, we do accept returns. We have a return policy,
which must be reviewed and followed prior to making a return,
which is located on our Policies and Procedures page. A
lot of bridal stores won’t accept returns after your
wedding date or won’t accept returns at all, but we
believe, at After the Dress.com, that knowing that you can
return an item can make you feel better about making an
online purchase.
