Accessory Checklist for the Bride-to-be

Shoes: From slender high heels to cowboy boots, don’t be afraid to show off your personality and style!
Gloves: These aren’t just for winter weddings anymore! Gloves will add a touch of elegance to any bride. There are fingerless gloves for those who don’t want to hassle with the ring on the gloved finger. Gloves come in varying lengths so you can choose the dramatic flair to suite your wedding and personality.
Watches: Are generally only appropriate if it is a watch worn for sentimental reasons, such as a family heirloom, or a watch given to you by a special person. Just be sure it matches the overall look that you want to achieve on your wedding day.
Tiara and or Veil: After you have chosen your dress, find a tiara and veil that compliments the overall look and feel you are going for on your wedding day. Want to try something distinctive with your tiara that will add finesse? If your dress features a red sash around the waist, find a tiara that features red stones/gems. Or tie the color of your wedding into the color of your tiara. The possibilities are endless! And don’t forget extra pins for your hair!
Wedding Ring/Band: The all-important symbol of marriage, and don’t forget the ring pillow!
Ring Pillow: Choose a ring pillow which represents the overall feel you desire for your wedding day. The ring pillow is generally carried by a ring bearer and the rings tied to the pillow itself.
Necklace: After guests notice your beautiful smile, your necklace will probably be noticed shortly after. Choose a necklace that compliments the neckline of your dress, and represent the overall theme. For example, if you chose a vintage dress, choose a necklace that is reminiscent of the vintage era. Don’t forget your bridesmaids if you want them to match or carry the same style!
Earrings: Choose earrings that compliment the necklace but do not overpower it. They should carry the same lines and stones or gems. Be sure to view jewelry choices for your bridesmaids if you want them to match or carry the same style!
Bracelet: Bracelets are such a nice touch!
Flower Girl Basket: A flower girl basket is chosen based on the look you are trying to achieve for the wedding day. Try faux flower petals, they are much more cost efficient and have the same effect!
Bra/Bustier: You may not need either one, but you might, so don’t forget to try them on under your dress.
Underwear: Will it be thong, control top, or hosiery or all of the above? This will depend on the style and fit of your wedding gown!
Garter: Most brides choose the garter to cover the “something blue” category. Whether you choose to wear a blue one or not, don’t forget to get one!
Hosiery: Decide what type and color of hosiery you intend to wear…will they be thigh high, control top, or toeless? Whatever the choice, be sure to bring an extra pair just in case!
Bodyslimmers: These are fantastic and can keep everything tucked in and away for your special day.
Slip: Might be for you depending on your wedding dress and material. A slip can be beneficial for those wearing a thin material wedding dress.
